Oh Emma, you’ve made me so nostalgic for my days among the AFOLWACs! It is I, Pink Lady, formerly Goose number 17, sometime Ombudsgoose, and erstwhile architectural historian of Relax With Bricks. This was such a valiant attempt to explain the whole thing to the uninitiated, and it is glorious (as is the now-crammed Lego Shed), but I fear that the world at large will think us quite, quite mad. More fool them!
PINK LADY! Oh how we have missed you. I still to this day, when facing an odd architectural quirk, mention you knowing full well you’d have had the answer. I hope you’re VERY WELL.
I’m an EFOL, if there’s such a thing. Elderly fan — took them up at the beginning of the pandemic when I couldn’t get away to celebrate my 80th birthday. Taking them apart, sorting them, etc is almost as soothing as building.
Had been too busy in recent months with politics to get them out, but a few days before the election it was the only thing that helped me stay calm. I am out of space for new acquisitions so I’m not sure how the next four years will go….
Oh wow, you attempted with real purpose to explain the Lego Shed / AFOLWACs / Relax with Bricks / Live and Bricking to other actual
adults. Very well done. In doing so you touched on a number of niche points like the Haunted Table, Gooses, Incidents and more besides. I’m sure you’ve maybe created a line of pertinent questions from adults but hopefully more so a queue for new members who just want in with the madness. Fascinating to see an attempt to “explain” what it’s all about from the inside looking out!

Aww, how lovely to be remembered fondly! I am, indeed, splendiferous, and very happy to see you the same.
Oh lawks, I can see your stuff being a total timesuck for me, like I needed another one
Sorry!

I didn’t even show them the Graham Triggs Correctional Facility…..
There’s a whole series worth of info once you start with AFOLWAC Lore!
Loved this 😂
